Re: Water land (act 1 + 2)

nice level smile it can still be improved, though.

1. some slopes are correct; others feel blocky.
2. the loop is not correct: try landing on top of it using Tails. You have to put 0-degree bricks on the top of the loop.
3. you may improve the background by adding a parallax effect in the water (just like blue ocean zone)

I'm going to improve this.
I will use the original background (with waterfalls).
also I will make all objects smaller (now they are too big)

I have a question, it is possible to move the danger item.
I will make fire from the ground.

Since it's "Water Land", fire won't fit there. How about whirlpools instead? big_smile

By the way, about danger items, you can put it anywhere. If you have downloaded SilverstepP's new levels (Urban Rush and Velocity Volcano), look at the way he puts the icons on the lasers and lava.

The fire (or instead smile ) must go up and down.
the Danger item must move with the fire or is there something else possible?

Unfortunately, the danger icon will not move for the time being. I tried to be creative with it...

I have a suggestion for another new feature. Why not make a new type or behavior of a brick be 'danger' or something?

Well, even if it doesn't happen, I suggest that you make a group with the 'danger' object and the dangerous thing itself. That's how I managed the pools of lava in Velocity Volcano. (Putting them on there one at a time... that's hard) Making them move? No, you can't do that quite yet to my knowledge. Why not try something like floating mines if you want something that moves in the air and hurts things, because fire really doesn't fit here, like SoniChris said.

Good luck!

The Danger item is not moveable. Having a 'danger' brick type would be a very useful feature, though. http://opensnc.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/TODO_List smile

Thank everyone smile .
it's true, fire doesn't fit with "water land"
I was also thinking about a sort of fountain, but I couldn't find or create.

danger brick type is very useful!
good idea smile

Re: Water land (act 1 + 2)

Lol, I'm having lots of ideas lately.

I thought the 'danger' icon was a pain in the butt anyways. There's only one shape for it right now, and it is a bit too large as well (I put it on top of a single spike trap and get killed if I hit the side of it, nowhere near the dangerous part itself...)
