[597] no Linux binary?

yeah, the zip only contains the Windows exe.

I think that's correct, since the .zip is the Windows version. Try the .tar.gz package instead. wink

why not merge both, since only the binaries and libraries change? the wasted space for those who only use one OS is virtually none.

I don't merge both because Linux users feel slightly disturbed by having to download a .zip with a Windows .exe and DLLs inside. On the other hand, most Windows users can't extract a .tar.gz.

The Linux executable (not the libraries) was in the Windows package due to a mistake of mine when I was writing the bleeding edge automated generation scripts. If it helps users, I can probably put it back* there. Thoughts? smile

* but not the libraries - you get them from the other package. They rarely change, anyway.
