We have objects, items, and bricks definable in .lev files, so why can't groups be too?

//Groups

Group 10 0 0
Group 1 64 64
Group 3 64 128
Group 4 128 128

That right there shortened the usual number of bricks by One-Sixteenth of the normal amount.

This would be a really good way to save space in .lev files, which would be vital. How hard would this be to do, if it's even possible?

deleting one brick would result in the group being split into bricks again, at least the way i'm picturing it. could work wonders, though, if feasible.

not feasible, unfortunately. None of the suggestions. Groups are not real entities; they do not exist in practice (like bricks or items do). They are just a level editor feature.

Well, how else can we deal with bloated lev files?

by using small bricks for obstacles, .lev files will inevitably be big if the levels are huge. and that is not a problem.

big .lev files should never be a concern. I know there is a bug right now when reading them, but that will be fixed. Please keep designing your levels.
